Gone with the Wind

All content and trigger warnings aside, there simply has never been a character in all of American Fiction who rivals the charm, tenacity, insufferability, and distinctly feminine mystique as that of Scarlett O'Hara. For that reason alone I think everyone should read Gone With the Wind. You will whip through this nearly 1000 page novel if you're interested generally in women and specifically women at war (internally and externally).
